All new 2022 Reference Value and Benchmark updates are now available from the GLWC and Anker Research Institute. New Reference Value updates are available for Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Mozambique, Rwanda, and Tanzania and new Benchmark updates are available for South Africa and Pakistan. The reports estimate the wages or incomes a worker in these regions would need to receive each month to afford a basic but decent standard of living.
These studies have been updated to account for changes in inflation, exchange rates, costs of living, and policy changes since the original reporting.
