New Living Wage Update: Northwest Nicaragua

March 23, 2022

The Global Living Wage Coalition and Anker Living Wage and Income Research Network are happy to announce the release of a living wage update for northwest Nicaragua. The study, originally conducted in 2019, has been updated to account for changes in inflation, exchange rates, costs of living, and policy changes since the original reporting. This report estimates the wage a worker in northwest Nicaragua needs to receive each month to afford a basic but decent standard of living.
