The GLWC and Anker Research Institute are delighted to announce new 2023 Reference Values for Togo and Cameroon. The Reference Values for Togo estimate the wage a worker in rural and urban areas of Togo would need to receive each month to afford a basic but decent living and the Living Wage Reference Value for Cameroon estimates the living wage for a worker to afford a decent living in typical urban areas.
Anker Reference Values for living wages and living incomes are based on a methodology developed by Richard and Martha Anker and Ian Prates, using a regression analysis of the 40 quality-assured Anker Methodology Living Wage and Income Benchmark studies that have been carried out so far.
